I stayed one night in early August with my 11-month-old baby and was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to an en-suite room. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel safe as a solo female traveler. The clean room and enjoyable bar area were great, and nearby attractions like Hazel Woods and Rockingham Castle offered lovely family outings. Would stay again!

The location was favourable and unbeatable there, close to many pubs. Superbly friendly and pretty friendly staff members provided a few recommendations. The room was neat, with private bathroom.

The double room was clean and spacious, with convenient tea and coffee facilities along with a comfortable over bed light. While the breakfast was excellent, the lack of self-service coffee was a downside, as staff were occasionally unavailable for additional cups. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by limited availability of towels and a shower door that wouldn't close properly, impacting the overall satisfaction of the stay.

The location was incredible and peaceful, within easy walking distance of Fineshade Wood.
The breakfast was rather basic, I think it could be better.

Iron and ironing board, coffee and tea making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in my twin room were useful during the stay for local wedding. The bed was comfy and the food was outstanding!

Budget-friendly pricing, accessible outdoor space, decent bar food offerings
The shared facilities felt a bit cramped and could benefit from updating!!! The noisy guests at night.

pleasant experience but could improve
The staff greeted us warmly. The dinner service was perfect with a polite young waiter who made our meal nice.
Room cleanliness missed the mark slightly.

The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We loved the three-course meal offer for only £29.95 per adult, delicious. Our family had a lovely time, especially enjoying the clean and well-appointed double room.
My wife says that a larger pool area would have been great for the kids.

lovely stay with some hiccups
The newly done room was fab and the bed was super comfy. The staff were friendly and helped my daughter with her vegan food, a lifesaver! The only bummer was that the shower door didn't close right. We would've liked more towels.

The wet room was a nice touch too.
The sound insulation could be better as we heard some noise from adjacent rooms.
